We are hiring a Revenue Audit Supervisor for our Sales and Miscellaneous Tax Field Compliance Division/Des Plaines Field located in Des Plaines, IL. In this position you will supervise and review the activities of Revenue Auditors, providing guidance, instruction and resolution when needed. Essential Functions
QUALIFICATION PATH A
Requires a bachelor’s degree.
Requires successful completion of fifteen semester hours of academically progressive coursework* in accounting including at minimum:
• two introductory accounting courses
• two intermediate accounting courses
• one course in taxation or audit.
Requires two years professional experience as a Revenue Auditor III.
* IMPORTANT NOTE: Progressive coursework is recognized as sequencing of increasingly difficult and rigorous coursework in an academic discipline that builds upon previously mastered knowledge and skills. Progressive coursework may be determined by assessment of course content, course title, course numbering, or other factors. Coursework assessed as duplicative shall be accepted and credited once, only.
QUALIFICATION PATH B
Requires a bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or a Certified Public Accountant certification.
Requires two years professional experience as a Revenue Auditor III.
