Monday (Westminster) 4:00p-9:00p

Wednesday (Taneytown) 3:00p-10:00p

Friday (Westminster) 4:00p-9:00p

Option 2:

Saturday (Westminster) 9:00a-9:00p

Sunday (Westminster) 9:00a-9:00p

Tuesday (Taneytown) 3:00p-9:00p

What You’ll Do

As a DSP, you’ll provide hands-on support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential home setting. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with daily living skills and personal goals
• Supporting cooking, laundry, and household tasks
• Providing personal care assistance
• Administering medications
• Transporting residents to activities and appointments
• Encouraging independence, community involvement, and meaningful experiences

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license with no more than 2 current points
• Computer skills and ability to learn new systems
• Ability to pass drug screening and criminal background check
• Willingness to complete all required trainings including DDA trainings, CPR, First Aid, and Medication Certification
• Med Certification preferred, but not required
• DSP experience preferred, but not required

Physical Requirements:

This position involves assisting individuals with mobility and personal care needs and requires the ability to:

• Lift and assist with transfers
• Stand, bend, push, pull, and reposition individuals as needed
• Safely assist with wheelchairs, lifts, and transportation supports
