Mental Health Association of Nassau County (MHANC) is a not-for-profit membership organization dedicated to improving mental health in our community through advocacy, education, program development, and the delivery of direct services. Our organization is looking for a motivated individual with a calling to help adults with mental illness by becoming a Residential Counselor 1 & Intake Coordinator.
The primary responsibility of the Residential Counselor I/Intake Coordinator is to assist the Program Manager with the day-to-day activities of the Independent Apartment Program (IAP’s) & A Home At Last (AHAL II) housing programs and manage all the intakes for the Community Living Program (CLP). The program functions must be in accordance with current governmental regulations or may be required by the Program Manager to ensure quality of care.
