Repair Technician

Our client, a premier manufacturer of high-quality power conversion solutions for mission-critical military and industrial sectors, is seeking a Lead Soldering Repair Technician (Electro-Mechanical Repair Technician) to join their team. As a Lead Soldering Repair Technician, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the Electro-Mechanical assembly team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional technical precision, a strong commitment to quality, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lead Soldering Repair Technician (Electro-Mechanical Repair Technician)
Location: Saratoga Springs, NY
Pay Range: $19.87 - $21.36 per hour (Union Scale)

• Perform high-precision repair and rework on complex circuit boards and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Utilize J-Standard soldering techniques to ensure all repairs meet strict military and industrial quality specifications.
• Troubleshoot and identify defects in electronic components to determine the necessary repair path.
• Collaborate with the production team to clear backlogs and ensure units move through the repair process efficiently.
• Maintain detailed documentation of repairs and modifications to ensure full traceability for DoD contracts.

• Proven experience in circuit board repair and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with J-Standard soldering requirements.
• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to meet eligibility requirements for access to export-controlled data.
• A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work within a structured union environment.

• Guaranteed pay increases: Starting at $19.87/hr with a scheduled increase to $21.36/hr after 6 months.
