Title: Renewals OperationsSpecialists

Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid)

We are seeking a Renewal Operations Specialist to support the management of subscription renewals across Riverbed’s global customer base. This role plays a key part in ensuring predictable recurring revenue, supporting customer retention, and enabling smooth renewal transactions.

The Renewal Operations Specialist will work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure timely renewal processing, accurate forecasting, and strong customer engagement throughout the renewal lifecycle.

What you will do

  • Manage the end-to-end renewal lifecycle for a portfolio of customer accounts.
  • Prepare and deliver renewal quotes and pricing proposals in collaboration with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers.
  • Engage with customers and internal stakeholders 90–120 days prior to subscription expiration to initiate renewal discussions.
  • Identify opportunities for upsell, cross-sell, and contract co-terming during the renewal process.
  • Ensure compliance with pricing guidelines, contractual obligations, and approval workflows.
  • Maintain accurate renewal records and forecast renewal bookings within CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Operations teams to resolve contractual or billing issues affecting renewals.
  • Monitor at-risk accounts and potential churn risks, escalating early to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation and renewal records to support audit and compliance requirements.

What makes you an ideal candidate

  • 3+ years of experience in renewals, sales operations, customer success operations, or account management within a SaaS or technology company.
  • Strong understanding of subscription-based business models and recurring revenue operations.
  • Experience working with CRM and quoting systems such as Salesforce and CPQ tools.
  • Experience working in enterprise software or SaaS organizations.
  • Familiarity with global customer accounts and renewal cycles across regions (EMEA, APAC, LATAM).
  • Exposure to subscription billing platforms or ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP.
  • Experience supporting global sales teams and complex enterprise renewal agreements.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and renewal cycles simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
