Who we are looking for

GlobalLink, a global business unit within State Street Digital, provides market leading electronic trading platforms as well as analytics, settlement, and infrastructure products to the world’s largest organizations. GlobalLink’s Fixed Income (“GLFI”) business focuses on Money Market Funds, Primary Market ETFs, Liquidity Instruments, Investment Funds, Payments and Clearing.

GLFI is looking for an entrepreneurial go-getter who is passionate about making an impact within a fast-growing organization. You will be responsible for several critical functions core to our businesses including client experience, client services, process improvement, innovation and organic sales growth.

As a product sales representative, you must have an aptitude for technology and also build strong relationships across the broader sales, operations, legal, compliance and other internal teams critical to the end-to-end client lifecycle, from initial contact, through on-boarding and beyond. With a consultative, solutions oriented approach; you will be expected to demonstrate initiative, energy, and superior networking skills to develop trust and accountability across both the existing client base and the State Street organization.

What you will be responsible for

As a Vice President for GLFI you will:

  • Be accountable for the overall health of the client relationship as primary client advocate and ultimate escalation point for client satisfaction
  • Conduct frequent and regular check-ins (remote and in person) with assigned clients, ensuring their continued satisfaction and strategic alignment with firm services/product offerings
  • Serve in a consultative role to the client, advising client top leadership on the best way to achieve short and long term strategic objectives. Promote firm services/product offerings that solve client challenges
  • Participate in sales processes and discovery sessions, to ensure superior demonstrations / presentations.
  • Develop significant expertise on industry trends, competitor services/offerings and client’s business environment and provide clients with industry expertise sharing trends as well as current and potential impact on the client business model
  • Provide recommendations on product/service enhancements internally to fill client interests. Assimilate and share competitor intelligence keeping Product team informed of market activity
  • Consistently improve and develop product knowledge, sales skills and efficiencies through active involvement in self-learning, company training, education and professional development programs
  • Represent the firm at regional and national conferences and be an active participant in related activities

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • BS/BA 7+ years of experience with client relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of technology driven financial solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of the asset classes and areas GLFI focuses on as defined above.

Salary Range:

$160,000 - $235,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
