The International Regulatory Reporting Team within Finance is seeking a Software Engineer with experience in design, development, testing and implementation of regulatory reporting solutions via SQL/Kanban/Agile framework. The regulatory reporting platform is built on OneSumX application from Wolters Kluwer, which covers all types of reporting, e.g. FINREP, COREP, Credit Risk, MAS 610. The team extracts data from a single data provisioning point and loads to target tables for OneSumX reporting.

This role is required to provide both Software development and quality assurance using Agile/Kanban framework. The database development tools in use include SQL Server Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, Informatica (ETL), Autosys (JIL) scripts, unix/windows scripting, Java, and VB scripting. The candidate will work with our business partners and product owners in various international locations, in building and delivering reporting solutions via Scrum or Kanban Agile framework.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of JIRA experience
  • 5+ years of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Programming experience
  • 3 + years of automation or regression testing experience
  • 5+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata
  • 5+ years of experience analyzing requirements and designing new solutions for application and database components
  • 5+ years of software engineering and implementation experience
  • 3+ years of experience with RDBMS design and development of tables, fields, and relational mapping
  • 3+ years of risk and finance regulatory reporting experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Agile in a development environment
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience


Desired Qualifications

  • Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical design: detail design documents
  • 3+ years of MS SQL server experience
  • Experience capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements which may include workflows, process maps, or business processes
  • 5+ years of experience with data analysis and documentation
  • Experience with one or more Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as Confluence or Jira
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • An industry-standard technology certification


Other Desired Qualifications
  • FRS/OneSumX Reporting experience
  • Experience working with cross functional teams (Technology, Scrum Master/Kanban Lead, Product Owner, Business Users, and IT Platform Support


Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours
