In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. Compliance, Legal, Audit & Regulatory Technology (CLAR) within EFT provides technology support and development for Legal & Data Controls, Compliance Risk & Audit, Financial Crimes, Front Office and Second Line Risk, Employee Compliance, Regulator Regulations, Market Surveillance, and Regulator Change Management.
This position will be part of the CLAR team that will support Corporate & Investment Banking | International Operation Corporate Independent Testing & Validation group with their testing and validation of systems by collecting data from various systems platforms.
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Able to work in a fast paced environment, where priorities and tasks can change frequently.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to accurately identify complex situations and determine impacted populations.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge and understanding of SQL or SAS.
- Ability to use SQL, Teradata, Oracle etc. to help understand data elements
- Proactively make recommendations for improvements to process and data management.
- Experience with mining data, reviewing the data and generating root cause analysis.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as in a group environment.
- Detail oriented with effective oral and written communication skills.
- Possess in depth-knowledge of business systems and data structure.
- Ability to influence and create an environment that fosters collaboration and credible challenge across multiple groups
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with multiple levels of operations team members, including senior level managers.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years of analytics consulting experience
- 3+ years of SQL or SAS experience
- 3+ years of analytics experience

- An industry-standard technology certification
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage or lead in a matrix environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

- Good analytical skills including strategically analyzing data, diagnosing opportunities, and providing interventions
- SAS programming experience in model implementation, reporting, and complex data manipulations
- Knowledge and understanding of database querying and creating ad hoc reporting results using SQL or similar querying methods
- Knowledge and understanding of Tableau reports/dashboards version management on GitHub
- Business intelligence experience
- 3+ years of SAS experience
