Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Vascular Technologist, a vital role dedicated to advancing patient care through expert vascular imaging and diagnostic evaluation. In this energetic position, you will utilize your technical skills and anatomical knowledge to perform high-quality vascular studies. Your expertise will support providers in diagnosing and treating vascular conditions such as chronic venous insuffieciency, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Job description:

  • Perform comprehensive vascular ultrasound examinations, including duplex scans of veins and arteries of the lower extremities.
  • Assist providers with ultrasound guided procedures. Full training provided.
  • Document findings accurately and prepare detailed reports for physician review, supporting diagnostic evaluation processes.
  • Ensure proper patient positioning and comfort while explaining procedures clearly to reduce anxiety.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and current best practices in vascular imaging.


Requirements

  • Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or equivalent credential preferred. Graduates who are registry-eligible and plan to take the exam in the next three months are also encouraged to apply.
  • Understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to vascular and arterial health.
  • Proficiency in sonography equipment operation and diagnostic evaluation of vascular conditions.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate seamlessly with colleagues.
