The Role

The Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) as a key member of our Geospatial and Surveying group, you’ll play an essential role in supporting field and office operations across a variety of energy infrastructure and industrial projects—primarily in the oil and gas sector.

We’re looking for someone who not only brings technical expertise but also has a growth mindset and a desire to help us expand our Survey business unit.

Typical responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage field survey crews and office staff
  • Oversee and review boundary, topographic, route, and as-built surveys
  • Prepare and certify plats, legal descriptions, and survey reports
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to define survey scopes
  • Develop and provide cost and time estimates for survey services as part of project planning and proposals
  • Support business development efforts and contribute to the strategic growth of the Survey group
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and professional standards
  • Travel to project sites across Texas as needed
