Schedule: 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM 

$6000 Sign-On Bonus (2 yr. Commitment)

Our Trauma Program Coordinator will be responsible for Trauma Prevention Education, also provide injury prevention and trauma care. Work directly with the Trauma Medical Director and Trauma Committee to develop and implement injury prevention education. Serve as a resource to nursing staff, pre-hospital personnel, and other outside personnel related to trauma care and injury prevention education. Acts as a spokesperson for injury and trauma prevention issues. Establishes and implements strategies for continuous improvement.

 

How you'll contribute  

A Trauma Program Coordinator who excels in this role: 

 

  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs 
  • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions 
  • Assists the Emergency Department Nurse Manager in the development, implementation and evaluation of performance improvement indicators to improve patient outcomes and the work environment.

  • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient 
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record 
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient 
  • Performs timely and accurate QI assessments 

 

What we're looking for: 

 
Applicants should have a current state or compact state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include

  • BLS Required  
  • ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred  
  • ER/Trauma Experience Required
  • Trauma Coordinator Experience Preferred 

 

Schedule: FULLTIME DAYS 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM
