• Collaborative Clinical Care: Provide direct nursing care in accordance with organizational protocols, working in close partnership with a Registered Nurse to implement and monitor individualized patient care plans.

• Clinical Observation & Communication: Assist in the observation and documentation of patient healthcare needs, ensuring all pertinent information and changes in condition are communicated promptly to the RN and interdisciplinary team.

• Order Implementation: Facilitate the documentation and execution of physician and nursing orders under the direct guidance of a Registered Nurse preceptor to ensure patient safety and care accuracy.

• Transition to Practice: Actively participate in professional residency programs designed to enhance clinical thinking, sharpen judgment, and develop the skills necessary to provide competent, person-centered care.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date registered. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
