Nashville General Hospital is hiring for a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN), Cardiac/Telemetry in Nashville, Tennessee.Nashville General Hospital seeks to hire an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for our Cardiac/Telemetry Unit who will embrace our commitment to providing quality care to every patient and family member. This is an 18-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio. As a Cardiac/Telemetry RN you will be responsible for:
Admitting and assessing patients
Administering medication and treatments
Monitoring vital signs and symptoms
Running and ordering tests
Coordinating care with Physicians and Specialists
Charting Patient Progress
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited associate of Nursing degree (or Diploma) Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing Preferred.
Current Licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact state.
Employee must have valid BLS upon hire. ACLS, Chemotherapy Competency and CPI are required within 90 days of hire.
