Position Purpose
Reporting to the Director of Acute Care, the Registered Nurse must demonstrate the passion to provide bedside care to a diverse and acutely ill population of patients. The RN should possess the knowledge and skill of how to safely apply the nursing process to assess, plan and evaluate the care of patients with various health conditions, as well as provide care for pre-and post-surgical patients including bariatrics.
Unit Overview
The Med/Surg/Tele Unit is a 30 bed inpatient unit that is part of a new transformational care team model created to improve patient care and provide nurses and nurse assistants new opportunities and support. The RN will team with an experienced virtual RN (vRN) and a certified nursing assistant to provide excellent patient care to patients in an acute care setting. This fast-paced unit has a diverse population of staff and patients with multiple medical co-morbidities.

Position Highlights and Benefits:
Pay Range: $38.92 – $55.68. Pay is based on experience, skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
