How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Direct operations for a high-acuity cardiovascular department at a Level II Trauma center, managing 5 Cath/EP labs, an IR/Vascular suite, and an upcoming hybrid suite to support 700+ monthly procedures, overseeing a critical service line that generates one-third of the organization's revenue.
  • Utilize strong financial acumen to manage budgets, optimize operational costs, and champion business cases for growth, while cultivating key partnerships with physicians and community leaders to expand our market position.
  • Spearhead the continuous improvement of services, policies, and standardization efforts to ensure high-quality, cost-effective care and long-term operational success.
  • Foster a culture of excellence by actively mentoring, coaching, and developing staff and leadership, while overseeing recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
  • Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.

Work Experience:

  • 5 years of experience required.
  • 10 years of experience preferred.
  • 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
  • 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

What additional requirements you'll need

  • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license

  • Proven, verified Director-level experience in a cardiovascular setting (e.g., Cath Lab, EP Lab, CVOR, or Cardiac Step-Down)

  • Master’s degree (or currently enrolled in a Master’s program)
