Individuals hired for a Weekender position are required to work two (2) 12-hour shifts between 7:00 PM Friday and 7:00 AM Monday. In return for this commitment, Weekenders will be compensated at 1.5 times their regular hourly rate for these shifts. Individuals in Weekender roles qualify for full-time medical and dental benefits, whereas eligibility for all other benefits is at part-time levels.

Lakeside 55 is a 20 bed non-telemetry floor that has a primary focus of gastrointestinal and pulmonary health. The levels of experience on the division vary which make for a great learning environment as there are nurses and nursing assistants with twenty plus years of experience down to new graduates. Because of the small size of the unit and years of experience our staff have, Lakeside 55 has developed a reputation as being a supportive, fun, and family-like unit. Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.

Position Requirements:
Thorough knowledge of nursing process and practice. Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies (ie. Stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices. Demonstrates a professional demeanor when responding to patients.
1 year of RN experience required
Education Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
Minimum of Diploma/Associate’s Degree in nursing from accredited program.
License Requirements:
Registered nurse with current license to practice in the state of Ohio.
Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation
