🚨 Hiring Now: Occupational Health Nurse (2nd Shift)
📍 Austin, TX
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse (RN) to support a manufacturing environment by managing occupational injuries, disability cases, health surveillance programs, wellness initiatives, and regulatory compliance activities.
🔹 Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri 2pm to 10:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Manage occupational injury and illness cases
✅ Coordinate workers' compensation and disability programs
✅ Conduct fitness-for-duty evaluations
✅ Maintain medical records and ensure HIPAA compliance
✅ Support OSHA health surveillance programs
✅ Perform workplace assessments and recommend accommodations
✅ Lead employee wellness and health promotion initiatives
✅ Deliver occupational health training and new hire orientation
✅ Maintain infection control and biohazard compliance programs
Required Qualifications:
✔ Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in Texas
✔ Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
✔ Occupational Health Nursing experience strongly preferred
✔ Knowledge of FMLA, Workers' Compensation, OSHA, HIPAA, and case management
✔ Strong medical record management and computer skills
✔ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Experience:
• Occupational & Environmental Health Nursing
• Manufacturing or industrial environment
• Workers' compensation case management
• Disability and leave administration
