Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Endoscopy


Locations: Seattle, WA

Status: Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week (4x10 Schedule)

In this role, you will provide end-to-end clinical care in a fast-paced, outpatient endoscopy setting, ensuring the highest standards of safety and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive Patient Care: Deliver end-to-end care across Pre-Op, Intra-procedure, and PACU (recovery) phases.
  • Clinical Support: Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures while maintaining strict aseptic and sterile techniques.
  • Patient Monitoring: Vigilantly monitor vitals, sedation levels, and patient responses to ensure safety throughout the procedure and recovery.
  • Assessment & Planning: Perform physiological and psychological assessments to develop and evaluate individual nursing care plans.
  • Education: Provide clear discharge instructions and educate patients and their families on post-procedure care.


Qualifications & Skills

Required:

  • Licensure: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Washington.
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Certifications: Current BLS (AHA).
  • Note: ACLS and PALS (AHA) are required but can be completed shortly after hire.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of surgical procedures, patient care management, and aseptic techniques.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions and communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.


Preferred:

  • 1+ years of experience in Pre-Op or PACU.
  • Prior experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).
  • Previous exposure to Endoscopy/GI procedures.
