Starkel Nutrition is a well-established integrative nutrition practice serving the Seattle community since 2008. We are seeking a compassionate, growth-minded Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to join our collaborative team as we continue expanding our practice.
This position begins part-time while you build your caseload and transitions to full-time as your practice grows—with support from our experienced administrative team, referral network, and established clinic systems.

What You'll Do
- Provide individualized nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized care plans
- Support clients through behavior change, nutrition education, and ongoing coaching
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Participate in networking, relationship-building, and practice growth efforts
- Contribute to a positive, supportive clinic culture
Areas of Special Interest
We are seeking Registered Dietitian Nutritionists with expertise in functional medicine, eating disorders, or both. We welcome candidates who have developed a specialty niche and are excited to continue growing their clinical expertise within a collaborative practice. We provide a supportive environment for clinicians practicing from a weight-inclusive, HAES-aligned, and trauma-informed perspective.

Eating Disorders & Behavioral Health
- Anorexia Nervosa
- Bulimia Nervosa

Functional & Integrative Nutrition
- Autoimmune conditions (Hashimoto's, RA, MS, SLE, Celiac Disease)
- Histamine intolerance, MCAS, and immune-related conditions
- Gastrointestinal health
- Thyroid and metabolic health
- Nutritional supplementation
- Functional medicine nutrition
Women's & Family Health
- Fertility and preconception nutrition
- Pregnancy and postpartum nutrition
- Pediatric and family nutrition
- Hormonal health and menopause support
Candidates do not need experience in all specialty areas to apply. We value clinicians who bring depth of expertise in one or more areas and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.
QualificationsRequired
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
- Washington State resident
- Minimum 2 years of nutrition counseling experience
- Strong counseling and communication skills
- Commitment to inclusive, client-centered care
Preferred
- Functional medicine nutrition training
- Motivational Interviewing and behavior change training
- Experience utilizing nutritional supplements within evidence-informed practice
- Familiarity with Health at Every Size (HAES) and/or Intuitive Eating principles
- Existing insurance credentialing
Compensation & Growth Opportunities
- Starting compensation: $45–$55 per hour
- Employee position (W-2)
