Salary: $80,331.68 - $117,469.30 per year

Sign On Bonus: $7,500.00

How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Lead the clinical integration of medical nutrition therapy by collaborating with physicians and the diabetes team to weave nutrition prescriptions into a seamless, holistic management plan.

  • Empower patients and the community through dynamic education and tailored meal planning that transforms complex nutritional science into sustainable, life-changing habits.

  • Direct the educational roadmap by supervising the delivery of specialized diabetes training, ensuring every patient and staff member has the tools to achieve peak clinical outcomes.

  • Coordinate complex care delivery by managing healthcare provider orders and clinical interventions, ensuring the most efficient path toward patient stability and wellness.

  • Champion clinical excellence by reinforcing best practices in diabetes care across the medical staff, acting as the primary subject matter expert for nutritional health.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Dietitian/Nutritionist credentialed from the Maryland Board of Dietetic Practice obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Educator specializing in Diabetes Management credentialed from the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators (NCBDE) preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional requirements you'll need

  • Advanced Diabetes Expertise: Proven proficiency in delivering Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and Diabetes Self-Management Training (DSMT) within a clinical or community setting.
