About the Company


Blazer Jobs is partnering with school districts in the Denver, Colorado area to hire a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and helping them develop meaningful academic, behavioral, and social skills in a school setting.



About the Role

As an RBT in a school environment, you will work closely with BCBAs, special education teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to implement behavior intervention plans and support student success throughout the school day.


Responsibilities


  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision
  • Provide behavioral support to students with Autism and related developmental needs
  • Collect and document behavioral data accurately
  • Support students with communication, social, and daily living skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to ensure consistent implementation of strategies
  • Assist with classroom structure and behavioral support strategies



Qualifications

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • High School Diploma or Associate/Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ability to pass background screening and school district onboarding requirements
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills


Required Skills


  • Active RBT credential through the BACB
  • Colorado Department of Education (CDE) authorization if required by the district
  • Completion of district background checks and fingerprinting
  • Compliance with all state and district educational support staff requirements
