Position Overview

International has a great opportunity for a Regional Vice President of Truck Salesthat will focus on driving growth in a critical business segment, requiring a combination of consultative sales leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and organizational influence to unlock new opportunities and accelerate performance.

The planned objectives for this position are:

  • Sales Implementation:Guide Retail Sales Managers through the end-to-end implementation of retail sales management strategies at key dealerships.
  • Pipeline Management:Collaborate with field teams to monitor sales pipelines and ensure dealer accountability using standardized reporting tools.
  • Performance Coaching:Identify and resolve implementation roadblocks by coaching team members and escalating issues to Dealer Principals when necessary.
  • Strategic Advocacy:Serve as a subject matter expert by sharing regional best practices and empowering field teams.
  • Performance Reporting: Communicate regional successes and operational obstacles to leadership to drive continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the segment’s customers, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Lead a cross functional team in adopting a consultative approach, positioning the company as a trusted advisor rather than a transactional partner.
  • Implement strategies that align with customer goals, delivering tailored solutions that enhance value and long-term loyalty.
  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align strategies and ensure consistent messaging and execution.
  • Foster partnerships with internal stakeholders to address segment-specific needs, from product enhancements to streamlined customer experiences.
  • Actas a bridge between sales and other departments, ensuring feedback loops inform company-wide decision-making.
  • Advocate for the segment’s strategic importance within the organization, ensuring adequate resource allocation and prioritization.
  • Use data-driven insights and market knowledge to influence leadership decisions and gain buy-in for innovative approaches.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, sharing success stories and learnings to inspire broader organizational support.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 11 years of sales experience
  • At least 6 years of management experience

OR

  • Master's degree and at least 9 years of sales experience
  • At least 6 years of management experience

OR

  • At least 14 years of sales experience
  • At least 6 years of management experience

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills

  • Retail Sales Management experience is strongly preferred
  • Proven expertise in consultative sales approaches and account development.
  • Strong ability to navigate complex organizations, building rapport and trust at all levels.

  • Experience driving cross-functional initiatives and achieving measurable results.
