Role Description

Headquartered in Orlando, Florida, AQUIS is seeking a Regional Sales Executive (internally referred to as Regional Sales Director or RSD) to lead sales efforts across Florida, Puerto Rico, and Mexico, with potential expansion into the broader Caribbean region as opportunities arise. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.


The Regional Sales Director will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Sales and will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies that meet or exceed AQUIS sales goals and business objectives across both domestic and international markets. This role requires a balance of strategic leadership, new business development, and hands-on sales execution within a geographically and culturally diverse territory.


The successful candidate will have 3–5 years of stable experience in outside B2B sales, thrive in a highly autonomous, travel-intensive role, and enjoy being both a “road warrior” and a strategic business builder. Equally important is the ability to effectively manage a sales pipeline, close complex opportunities, and convert prospects into long-term customers across multiple regions.


This position requires the individual to reside in the state of Florida (Greater Orlando or Miami area, preferred) and operate from a home-based office, with frequent travel throughout Florida and periodic international travel to Puerto Rico and Mexico.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies that support AQUIS’s growth objectives across Florida, Puerto Rico, and Mexico.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within assigned domestic and international markets.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified prospects, driving opportunities through the full sales cycle to close.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and technical stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Navigate cultural, language, and business practice differences when selling into international markets.
  • Deliver professional sales presentations and product demonstrations to groups ranging from small technical teams to executive leadership.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding, implementation, and long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Represent AQUIS professionally at customer sites, industry events, and regional meetings.

Qualifications & Experience

We would like to hear from you if you possess:


  • A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong outside sales experience, with the ability and willingness to travel extensively within Florida and internationally, as required.
  • Demonstrated success in new business development through prospecting, hunting, and lead generation.
  • Experience with B2B capital or solution-based selling.
  • Fluency in Spanish, including both business-level communication and conversational proficiency, required to effectively engage customers and partners in Puerto Rico and Mexico.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English (Spanish required as noted above).
  • The ability to effectively present to and engage groups of 3–20 people.
  • Comfort interacting with a wide range of stakeholders—from technicians and facility managers to senior executives.
  • Professional maturity, sound judgment, diplomacy, and a strategic mindset.
  • High energy, drive, passion, tenacity, and strong problem-solving skills.

  • Physical ability to climb ladders, take measurements, and photograph air handling units located in mechanical rooms, basements, and rooftops.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft Office (Exchange).
  • A bachelor’s degree and at least five (5) years of stable, progressive sales experience.


Preferred Qualifications (Immediate Consideration)


  • Experience in HVAC, Facilities Management, or related B2B solution-selling industries.
  • Knowledge of air handling units, indoor air quality, energy efficiency and/or energy optimization initiatives.
  • Experience selling into healthcare, higher education, government, or Fortune-level organizations (corporate campuses and industrial).
