Regional Business Director

I’m currently supporting a rapidly growing biotech company in the Rare hematology/oncology space that is looking to bring on a Regional Business Director to support their commercial expansion.


This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll be leading a team of 7–9 reps while helping drive the success of an already approved, high-growth product with a strong pipeline behind it. The company is in a key growth phase, making this a great opportunity to step into a role where you can truly make an impact and help shape the commercial organization.


Location: Central (CO,MO,IA,MN,NE)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team (7–9 reps)
  • Build and execute regional business and territory strategies
  • Drive product adoption through strong cross-functional collaboration (market access, medical, commercial)
  • Manage performance, KPIs, and overall regional execution
  • Optimize territory alignment, targeting, and sales planning
  • Partner with leadership to help scale and shape the commercial organization


Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries including at least 6 years in sales leadership roles
  • Over 4 years Oncology experience required
  • Track record of driving performance and exceeding targets
  • Experience building and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Experience supporting or leading product launches is a plus
