We are seeking an experienced Refinery Operations Supervisor to lead daily plant operations in a refinery/manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supervising operations personnel, ensuring safe and reliable plant performance, driving production efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise operations employees across rotating shifts
- Ensure compliance with all plant safety procedures and operational standards
- Manage daily and weekly production planning activities
- Monitor plant performance, troubleshoot operational issues, and coordinate maintenance follow-up
- Support preventive maintenance activities and SAP documentation
- Ensure KPI targets are achieved for production, maintenance, and chemical usage
- Maintain product quality standards and maximize plant throughput
- Support employee development, cross-training, and team performance management
- Partner with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to improve plant reliability and efficiency
- Ensure HACCP and SQF programs are fully implemented and followed
- Prepare operational reports and analyze plant performance data
- Support continuous improvement and change management initiatives
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline OR equivalent technical operations experience
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and process schematics
- Ability to obtain TWIC certification
Preferred
- SAP experience
- Refinery, chemical plant, or manufacturing operations experience
- Experience leading multi-shift operations teams
Schedule
Monday – Friday | 40 hours per week
Rotating Schedule:
- Week 1: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Week 2: 11:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Week 3: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
On-call approximately one weekend per quarter.
Physical & Work Environment

- Ability to climb ladders and work around operating equipment
