JOB DESCRIPTION
All duties and responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with VITAS Healthcare Corporation’s policies, procedures, guidelines, contractual commitments, and governmental regulations.
• Proactively develops and evolves the strategic sourcing strategies to create an ongoing talent pipeline to make a positive impact on hiring goals.
• Partners with the Recruiting Team and Leadership to implement sourcing strategies and best practices
• Utilizes creativity to assist with the evolution of recruitment processes and procedures, to help with maintaining the talent pipelines and with the positioning of the Team as trusted advisors on talent acquisition.
• Trains and advises Recruiters on new resources and tools that positively impact recruitment process.
• Generates, analyzes, and shares reports (standard and ad hoc) to monitor progress and areas of opportunity for optimized performance related to sourcing and hiring activity.
• Publishes job ads in various portals.
• Provides reports on recruitment cost and resource allocation.
• Evaluates and analyzes applicant flow and makes recommendations to enhance the quantity of qualified applicants.
• Identifies opportunities for greater efficiency, effectiveness that improve outcomes, and share solutions and ideas with leaders accordingly.
• Manage the set up for virtual hiring events in Indeed or other platforms.
• Collaborates with Marketing partners with creation of job specific recruitment marketing materials and executing marketing campaigns.
• Partner with HRIS to optimize and enhance utilization of the Applicant Tracking system.
• Ensure established recruitment processes, policies and procedures are followed in filling open positions efficiently and effectively.
• Assists recruiters in screening resumes and job applications for hard to fill and priority positions.
• Provides Recruiting Team with insight on the marketplace, trends and competitive recruitment practices
• Consistently exceeds KPI metrics.
• Participates in regularly scheduled meetings with hiring teams to provide updates, insight and develop targeted sourcing and recruitment strategies.
• Adheres to standardized procedures for all VITAS Recruitment to drive focus and improve efficiency.
• Attends meetings, training activities, courses and all other work-related activities as required.
• Performs any other job-related duties assigned as required.
QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Experience: • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a recruitment role.
• Hands on experience working directly with job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn etc.).
• Extensive knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites like LinkedIn, Facebook, Indeed, Handshake etc.
• Excellent knowledge of regulatory practices involved in the recruitment function.
• Working knowledge of ATS systems (Oracle preferred) and sourcing capabilities.
• Experience identifying, managing and reporting on metric impacting staffing and recruiting.
• Advanced time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
• Strong analytical skills required.
• Strong sourcing skills utilizing techniques such as advanced Boolean searches.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve goals through influencing, partnering, and developing productive relationships with hiring leaders across the business.
• Ability to work on various assignments simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to navigate within automated systems and proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Education: Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field from an accredited college or university or the international equivalent preferred.
Certification & Licensure:
SPHR, PHR, or Professional Recruiting Certification preferred.
