Swoon is partnering with a leading airline organization to hire a Recruiting Coordinator supporting high-volume talent acquisition operations. This role will focus heavily on reviewing large volumes of pre-recorded candidate interviews, calibrating assessments against established hiring rubrics, and supporting recruiting administration throughout the hiring lifecycle.


Location: Houston, TX

Work Arrangement: Primarily Remote with occasional onsite support for hiring activities as needed

Position Summary

This position supports a variety of recruiting, onboarding, and administrative functions for the Talent Acquisition team. The successful candidate will assist with candidate processing, interview coordination, onboarding activities, applicant tracking, and recruiting operations while ensuring a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and customer service.

A significant portion of this role will involve reviewing and evaluating a large volume of pre-recorded candidate interviews using established hiring rubrics and selection guidelines. Candidates must be comfortable performing repetitive, process-driven work while maintaining consistency and attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate high volumes of pre-recorded candidate interviews against established hiring criteria and scoring guidelines
  • Maintain consistency and calibration with hiring rubrics and selection standards
  • Support recruiting operations by collecting, entering, and maintaining candidate and new hire data
  • Schedule interviews, assessments, and pre-employment activities
  • Coordinate background checks, employment verification, license validation, fingerprinting, and other onboarding requirements
  • Process job requisitions and verify approvals for open positions
  • Post positions and manage recruiting activities within Taleo and other ATS platforms
  • Create interview guides and support hiring managers throughout the selection process
  • Communicate offers, rejections, and candidate status updates
  • Support onboarding and new hire transaction processing activities
  • Maintain accurate applicant and employee records while ensuring data integrity
  • Serve as a liaison between recruiters, candidates, hiring managers, and vendors
  • Support mass hiring initiatives, recruiting projects, and process improvement efforts
  • Ensure compliance with employment regulations, company policies, and confidentiality requirements
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to candidates and internal stakeholders
