The City of Everett Parks Department is currently accepting applications for a seasonal Recreation Information Office Support Day Laborer. (This employment is temporary, up to six months in duration). It is mandatory that the employee in this position contribute to theWashington State Public Employees Retirement System. This contribution is refundable upon the employees request at the completion of employment. These positions are not provided with City of Everett benefits.
NATURE OF WORK
This is general receptionist and clerical work requiring a basic knowledge of and experience with modern office procedures, practices and equipment.
Work involves office support work of a regular and recurring nature following specific and well-established policies, procedures and work standards. Duties may involve different and unrelated processes and methods. Individuals carry out routine assignments independently once procedures are learned and are responsible for their own work product and for maintaining high quality standards. Significant deviations are referred to a supervisor or employee of a higher classification who is normally available to advise or assist as necessary.
