Job Description

The Dartmouth Group is hiring multiple Recreation Attendants to monitor the pool and pool deck.

This is a part time, seasonal position.

Work hours:

May 23-June 23: Weekends Only between 11am-7pm.

June 24-Sept. 7: shifts are 7 days a week between 11am-7pm.

CPR/First Aid Certified is required, company paid.

Daily responsibilities:

• Unlock the pool gate by 10:45 AM.
• Open/close umbrellas.
• Water flowers.
• Daily testing of the water – training will be provided.
• Skim the pool for debris.
• Empty trash (as needed).
• Request identification from all guests including pool pass.
• Request all pool guests to sign guest log.
• Work with property manager to close pool during inclement weather.
• Lock gate at the end of the day.
• Notify property manager of any issues with the pool, equipment or guests.
• Other duties as requested.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of AED, CPR and similar life-saving techniques is needed; proper first aid skills aremandatory.
• Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
• Professional customer service skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
• Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
