Haymarket Center has emerged as a leader in the field of addictions and behavioral health treatment. Haymarket Center is the largest not-for-profit community-based adult detoxification, residential, and outpatient substance abuse treatment facility in Chicago. Haymarket Center has continued to grow into a comprehensive alcohol and other drug treatment organization, licensed by the state of Illinois, which receives funding from the private sector, as well as city, county, state and federal agencies. The treatment programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitative Facilities (CARF).
WORK DESCRIPTION:
To develop and maintain cordial relationships with officers and departments of the court, including private attorneys who represent clients of the court who are charged with offenses involving substance abuse. Provides individual services to adult, substance-using clients by following evidence-basedpractices; assists clients in building recovery resources; and develops individual Recovery Plans that help clients enhance self-efficacy, maintain engagement in ongoing HIV medical care, reduce HIV risk and transmission behaviors, and continue recovery post-treatment.
