Castaways on the River is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer‑focused Receptionist / Front Desk Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with guests, providing excellent customer service, and helping maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
The role includes a combination of front desk, customer service, and light housekeeping responsibilities to support smooth day‑to‑day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Greeting guests and visitors with a warm, professional, and welcoming attitude.
Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and provide accurate information about services, reservations, and amenities.
Assist guests with check‑in, check‑out, and general front‑desk needs.
Provide outstanding customer service and promptly address guest concerns.
Perform housekeeping tasks such as cleaning rooms, as needed.
Maintain a neat and organized reception area.
Support the team with general administrative or operational tasks as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Friendly, professional, and helpful demeanor.
Ability to multitask in a front‑facing environment.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Previous front desk, customer service, or housekeeping experience is a plus but not required.
