POSITION SUMMARY


This role supports commercial contracting operations by translating contract terms into standardized rebate calculation logic, ensuring accurate quarterly rebate calculations for contract-based rebate programs, and maintaining rebate tracking tools and historical data integrity. The position also supports the integration of contract and sales data for reporting and validation, collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure contract logic is accurately reflected in reporting solutions, supports validation and follow-up for other rebate programs as needed, and maintains structured, audit-ready documentation of deal history, amendments, and version changes.



KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Rebate Structure & Tracker Management


  • Standardize rebate calculation frameworks across contract-based rebate programs, including GPO and direct purchase contracts, and support other programs as needed.
  • Maintain rebate tracking tools and historical data to support accurate quarterly rebate calculations and validation activities.
  • Translate contract rebate terms into calculation logic and ensure quarterly rebates are calculated accurately, while supporting other rebate validations as needed.


Contract-Sales Data Integration


  • Develop and manage mapping frameworks across GPOs, aggregators, and hospital rosters.
  • Link contractual terms with actual sales data to enable accurate rebate calculation and contract performance tracking.
  • Align commercial agreements with transactional data for reporting and validation, and support follow-up on rebate inquiries or disputes as needed.
  • Power BI-Based Rebate Analytics & Monitoring
  • Work with the reporting team to ensure contract logic and rebate requirements are reflected accurately.
  • Support translation of contract terms and rebate methods into business rules for dashboard development.
  • Review rebate outputs and support monitoring to improve reporting accuracy and visibility.


Knowledge of Contracting and Product Program Management


  • Establish structured processes for managing product program rebate life cycle, including contract amendments and version tracking.
  • Knowledge of customer and affiliation relationships across different line of business and distribution channel
  • Ensure consistency between contract records and Finance month-end closing data.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation of historical deal terms and changes with the Finance team.



WORK EXPERIENCE


  • 3+ years of experience in Pharma/Biotech or related industries, preferably in Pricing, Contracting, Finance, Sales Operations, or other data-intensive commercial functions.
  • Experience supporting contract administration, rebate processing, data reconciliation, or commercial reporting is strongly preferred.



QUALIFICATIONS


  • Advanced Excel Skills (Required): Strong proficiency in formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data validation to support rebate calculations and reporting.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy in reviewing contract terms, validating rebate calculations, and reconciling data across multiple sources.
  • Communication and Coordination: Ability to work effectively across Finance, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to support reporting, resolve issues, and follow up on rebate-related inquiries or disputes.



EDUCATION


Bachelor’s Degree required in business or related field; advanced degrees, MBA, MS in business or related field is a plus.
