Real Estate Finance Attorney for Mid Sized New York Firm

Mid-Sized Firm Hiring: Real Estate Finance Associates (NY) | $170K–$230K

A well-regarded mid-sized law firm is seeking two mid-level associates to join its Real Estate Finance practice in New York. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated transactions with institutional clients in a collaborative, deal-driven environment.

🔹 Position 1: Mid-Level Real Estate Finance Associate (Senior)

Compensation: $210,000–$230,000 + discretionary bonus

Billables: 1,800 hours

Experience:

• Representing financial institutions in acquisition, construction, and permanent financing
• Deep experience closing multi-family and commercial real estate loans

Responsibilities:

• Drafting and negotiating:
• Loan agreements
• Mortgages
• Guaranties
• Ancillary loan documents
• Reviewing corporate diligence
• Managing deal flow and participating in large multi-party calls
• Handling multiple transactions simultaneously

🔹 Position 2: Mid-Level Real Estate / Finance Associate

Senior Commercial and Real Estate Associate with experience closing real estate finance transactions. Duties include working with a team of attorneys and reviewing diligence, drafting loan documents and assisting with commercial real estate loan closings on behalf of financial institutions and borrowers. Experience in Not-For-Profit financing or Affordable Housing Finance a plus. Salary range is $180,000-$210,000, plus an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and firm performance. Billable hours expectation is minimum 1,800 hours per year. Admission to the New York bar is required.
