THE ROLE
You will step in on Day 1 to take over the front-to-end execution of complex commercial real estate transactions. Your responsibilities include:
- The Full Lifecycle: Running deals completely autonomously from negotiating the LOI and Contract to the closing table.
- Heavy Drafting: Structuring and negotiating Commercial Loan Documents, Purchase & Sale Agreements, Commercial Leases, Operating Agreements, JV Agreements, Demand Letters, etc.
- Title & Escrow: Overseeing title matters, curing sophisticated title defects, and ensuring flawless closing execution.
- Client Advisory: Acting as a high-level strategic advisor to key real estate players (lenders, developers, investors, brokers, etc.)
THE STANDARDS
- You have at least 5 years of heavy transactional real estate experience.
- You respond to clients within 24 business hours.
- You thrive on keeping all parties aligned and moving fast, and you’re not afraid to take control of the situation when needed.
- You are a creative, outside-the-box thinker. When there’s roadblock, you find a legal, structured workaround to save the deal.
- You are tech-savvy and completely comfortable operating in a virtual, cloud-first, paperless environment.
- A book of business is highly preferred, but not strictly required if you have the operational capacity and experience to handle our current workload.
