Real Estate Attorney

PrideStaff
Saint Petersburg, FL

Our firm is partnering with a premier, established St. Petersburg practice to identify a Senior Real Estate Closing Attorney. This role is designed for a seasoned Florida legal professional who loves the technical "art of the deal" but is ready for a predictable 9-to-5 schedule and a respectful, family-first office culture.

If you are an expert in deeds, title, and residential transactions who wants to lead a division and still be home for dinner, this is your next career move.

Why This Position is Different:
  • Zero Billable Hour Requirements: Focus on quality work and relationship building, not hitting a monthly clock.

  • Leadership Autonomy: Take the lead on the firm’s transactional department and serve as a strategic advisor to a diverse clientele.

  • St. Pete Culture: Work in a vibrant, local office where you are treated with dignity and your expertise is truly valued.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transactional Leadership: Serve as the legal lead for the transactional department, focusing on the precise execution of residential deeds and closing documents.

  • Relationship Building: Act as the professional liaison for local realtors and banking institutions, fostering a collaborative network built on trust.

  • Title & Curative Oversight: Analyze title commitments and provide strategic direction for clearing title defects and clouds on title.

  • Streamlined Drafting: Prepare and review essential legal instruments, including custom deeds, affidavits, and specialized settlement agreements.

  • Compliance Mastery: Ensure all transactions remain in strict compliance with Florida statutes and federal lending regulations (TRID, RESPA).

Experience and Qualifications:
  • Professional Background: 5+ years of experience practicing real estate law in Florida with a heavy emphasis on transactional work and title operations.

  • Bar Admission: Active member in good standing of the Florida Bar.

  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of Florida real estate contracts, title insurance standards, and deed preparation.

  • Communication Style: A "relationship-first" approach with the ability to explain legal risks clearly to realtors, bankers, and investors.

  • The Right Fit: We are looking for an attorney who is career-minded but seeks a culture that respects personal time and professional boundaries.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $125,000.00 - $175,000.00
