A well-established and growing law firm in Nashville, Tennessee is seeking a mid-level to senior Real Estate Attorney (5–10+ years) to join its expanding practice. Position Overview

The firm is looking for an attorney with experience handling commercial real estate transactions and development matters, who is comfortable managing deals, working directly with clients, and contributing to a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle commercial real estate transactions from initial contract through closing
  • Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, and financing documents
  • Conduct due diligence, including title and survey review
  • Support development projects, including coordination with stakeholders and advisors
  • Work with lenders and borrowers on real estate financing transactions
  • Advise clients on risk, deal structure, and transactional strategy
  • Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas on complex matters

Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of experience in commercial real estate or related transactional practice
  • Admission to the Tennessee Bar (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions independently
  • Client-focused mindset with strong communication skills
