An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Real Estate Associate Attorney to join a highly regarded and established practice with a strong presence in Southern California and a growing national footprint. This role offers exposure to a broad range of sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, working with an impressive and diverse client base including developers, investors, lenders, and high-net-worth individuals. The successful candidate will play a key role in advising on complex matters while contributing to a collaborative, business-focused team.
Responsibilities:
- Handle a wide range of commercial real estate transactions from inception to completion
- Advise on acquisitions, dispositions, and financing of real estate assets
- Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, loan documents, and leases
- Conduct title and survey review and oversee due diligence processes
- Support development projects, including structuring and documentation
- Collaborate with clients and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions
- Provide strategic, business-oriented legal advice tailored to client objectives
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) qualification required
- Admitted to the California Bar and in good standing
- Must be a qualified attorney
- 5–10 years of substantive experience in general real estate transactions
- Strong background in acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development
- Experience with title and survey review and managing due diligence
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
- Strong client service orientation and commercial awareness
