Real Estate Attorney

A respected Chicago law firm is seeking a Midlevel Real Estate Associate (4–6 years) to join its growing real estate practice. The role focuses heavily on sophisticated commercial leasing, including office, retail, and industrial properties, working with institutional owners, developers, and corporate tenants.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and negotiate commercial leases on both the landlord and tenant side
• Manage leasing transactions and support broader real estate matters
• Advise clients on leasing strategy and related real estate issues
• Assist with acquisitions, dispositions, development, and financing transactions

Qualifications:

• 4–6 years of commercial real estate experience
• Strong background in commercial leasing
• Experience working with institutional real estate clients, landlords, or tenants
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
