Innovien is supporting a high-priority national missile defense program in its active build phase — one of the most consequential flight test campaigns in U.S. defense right now. We're hiring a Range Safety Engineer who's already done this work and already knows the people. Range safety is relationship-driven by nature: the supplier, the customer, and the range office all have to be aligned before anything leaves the pad. We need someone who walks in day one with that network built.

What You'll do:

Own RCC 319 and RCC 321 compliance across all program flight test campaign
Plan flight termination system requirements and lead FTS integration effort
Coordinate directly with range safety offices at every test site the program operate
Manage the supplier, customer, and range office relationship through safety approval
Support explosive safety, hazard analysis, debris analysis, and flight corridor plannin
Brief leadership and customer stakeholders on range safety status and ris

What You Bring:

5–10 years of range safety experience on a missile or rocket program
Working knowledge of RCC 319 and RCC 321 documentation
Hands-on experience with flight termination systems, explosive safety, or test range security officer functions
Existing working relationship with at least one major range safety office (Vandenberg, Redstone, Pax River, or equivalent
Active U.S. Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required

Nice to Haves:

Prior role as a Test Range Security Officer or Range Safety Officer
Flight test campaign experience at Vandenberg, Cape Canaveral, White Sands, or other DoD ranges
Military background in missile range operations, weapons safety, or EOD
Familiarity with hazard analysis, debris analysis, and flight corridor planning
Active TS or ongoing TS investigation
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or related field
