RAN Wireless SME

We’re looking for a RAN Wireless Subject Matter Expert with deep 4G/5G air interface and system-level expertise to support next-gen wireless product development and customer engagements.

This is not a test engineer role — we need a systems-level thinker who can bridge product, performance, and customer requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Translate customer requirements → system & feature requirements
• Perform deep analysis of 4G/5G call flows and protocols
• Analyze UE logs (QXDM, XCAL) to identify performance issues
• Support new product introductions & SW releases
• Lead technical deep-dive sessions with customers (carriers)
• Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and HQ teams
• Support pre-sales and solution design discussions

What We’re Looking For

• 12+ years of wireless experience (RAN focused)
• Strong expertise in 4G/5G air interface & performance
• Deep understanding of 3GPP standards (Rel-15/16 preferred)
• Hands-on experience with:
• UE log analysis (QXDM, XCAL)
• Protocol stack (PHY, MAC, RLC, PDCP, RRC)
• Experience with Massive MIMO, Beamforming, LTE-NR interworking
• Ability to convert business/customer needs into system requirements
• Strong communication and customer-facing experience

Nice to Have

• Background with Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, or similar OEMs
• Experience with virtualized networks
• Exposure to lab + field troubleshooting (IODT, chipset testing)
