RAN Feature Test Engineer

We are hiring a Network Engineer – Feature Tester to join a leading telecom product readiness team focused on introducing next-generation 4G LTE and 5G radio technologies across North America.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on lab testing, troubleshooting, and working with cutting-edge wireless technologies before they go live in major carrier networks.

What You’ll Do

• Perform integration, certification, and implementation of 4G LTE / 5G technologies in lab environments
• Execute structured feature testing and validation of radio products (HW & SW)
• Support proof of concept (POC) and pre-commercial testing with customers
• Work on BBU (Baseband Units) and Radio configurations across multiple bands/technologies
• Execute Test Object Lists (TOL) and document results
• Troubleshoot network issues and resolve technical faults
• Collaborate with internal teams, development units, and customer stakeholders
• Prepare reports for customer acceptance and product rollout readiness
• Contribute to automation initiatives to improve testing efficiency

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong background in 4G LTE and/or 5G NR technologies
• Experience in lab testing, integration, or network validation
• Knowledge of RAN, baseband units, and radio systems
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and test execution
• Ability to work with structured test cases and documentation
• Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration
