Job Summary and Qualifications

To maintain an efficient, safe and pleasant work environment. To assist the Director, Medical Director and Physicist in directing aspects of care provided by the medical imaging department including but limited to operating radiologic equipment to produce radiographs (x-rays) of body for diagnostic purposes, (excluding Flourscopy, portables and special procedures) as directed by Radiologist. 
What qualifications you will need:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:License / Certifications / Requirements Current licensure or permit to practice medical imaging in the State of Texas. (ARRT)(Texas Medical Board/State License) Current BLS required. Education: Graduate of an accredited program for Radiographers. Additional Experience: Prefer one (1) year working experience in a hospital Imaging Department. 

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
