Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Radiologic Technologist I, you will perform radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. Assume responsibility for specific radiographic procedures as required.

Everyday you will perform a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.

To be successful in this role you must assume responsibility for specific radiographic procedures as required.

  • Must have working knowledge of diagnostic imaging equipment.
  • Must also know departmental policies and procedures
  • Ability to work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff members, physicians, and the patient population
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Self motiviated and able to achieve results through good organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and be a functional team member in a team oriented environment

Job Requirements

Required

  • One year experience as a certified Radiologic Technologist. New graduates, with clinical experience through approved ARRT Radiologic Technology program, will be considered on an individual basis.
  • Current ARRT certification (RG ARRT)
  • Current CPR-AHA certification (CT CPRBLS) (Must be thorugh the American Heart Association)
  • Medical Radiographer (MRAD-CA)
