What You’ll Do

  • Create improvements to existing strategies, expanding your understanding of markets and trading in the process.
  • Rigorously develop new techniques and strategies to increase scale and risk-adjusted returns.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers, researchers, and developers to identify and formulate data-driven answers to high-impact research questions.
  • Actively explore interesting data and techniques through academic research, third-party providers, and conferences—converting findings into firm revenue.


What You Bring

  • Excellent quantitative analysis skills and experience working with large datasets.
  • Mental flexibility—you learn fast, question assumptions, and adjust your perspective when the data demands it.
  • Strong programming, data analysis, and problem-solving skills in Python and/or R.
  • Experience with machine learning and/or optimization techniques preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science required; strong preference for a technical major from a top program.
  • Minimum 2 years in a quantitative research role in finance or another technology-intensive field.
