The Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Data & Analytics team responsibly leverages data across Chase to build substantial advantages for the businesses while providing value and protection for customers. The team encompasses a variety of disciplines from data governance and strategy to reporting, data science and machine learning. Job Responsibilities
As a Quant Analyst Sr Associate who will be a key member of the Digital Analytics team within the broader Data and Analytics organization. You will work closely with Product Owners to deliver insights in terms of descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. In particular, you will strive to build consensus with Product Owners on if, where, when, how, and whom to focus customer engagement by defining metrics, sourcing data, developing queries, and creating reports. You will:
- Develop, plan, and execute analytical projects as an individual contributor and in teams
- Apply strategic, analytical and data science skills to broad range of challenges faced by the enterprise
- Synthesize analytical findings for consumption by senior business executives to including articulating them as clear and concise deliverables through presentations, discussions, and visualizations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate data discoveries and processes into operational capabilities
- Partner across Product, Technology and Design organizations to transform strategic priorities into a prioritized analytics roadmap
- Invent creative and innovative ways to answer key business questions by leveraging existing data assets or creating new ones
- Enhance data science and analytics strategies including recommendations on analytical products, services, protocols, and standards across the firm
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 3+ years of industry experience in business analytics roles (e.g., digital analytics, customer analytics, marketing analytics, sales analytics, business insights)
- Basic knowledge in modern data mining, quantitative research, and data science techniques (e.g., machine learning, behavioral analytics)
- Experience across broad range of modern data science and analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Hive, Hadoop, Spark, Python, R)
- Bachelor's degree in relevant quantitative field required (e.g. Statistics, Economics, Applied Math, Operations Research, Physics, Data Science fields); advanced degree preferred
- Ability to work in large and medium sized project teams, as self-directed contributor with a proven track record of being detail orientated, innovative, creative, and strategic
- Influencer with great interpersonal skills and proven ability to achieve alignment across a range of different views and interests
- Excellent communicator able to convey complex information in an understandable, compelling, and persuasive manner to senior executives

- Experience with Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Alteryx
