We are seeking a detail-oriented and meticulous Quality Control Technician to join our client's team in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity and safety of life-enhancing medical products.

You will be responsible for performing inspections, tests, and quality assurance checks on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished medical devices to ensure strict compliance with established quality standards and regulatory requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Quality Control Technician will execute detailed inspections and documentation necessary to ensure product quality throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.

  • Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and functional tests on incoming materials, components, and finished medical devices according to established sampling plans and procedures.

  • Measurement: Perform visual inspections, dimensional measurements, and other quality control checks using various measuring equipment, including optical comparators and electrical testing devices.

  • Documentation: Accurately document all inspection and test results in quality records, logs, and databases, maintaining meticulous record-keeping skills.

  • Non-Conformance Management: Identify, document, and segregate non-conforming materials and products, ensuring proper control of defective items.

  • Quality Investigations: Assist in the investigation of quality issues, deviations, and customer complaints, participating in root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.

Experience and Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in quality control within a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably in the medical device industry.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820).

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using various measuring tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical comparators, electrical testing).

  • Technical Interpretation: Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and procedures.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Engineering) is preferred.

  • Communication: Effective communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

  • Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $19.00 - $20.00
