Essential Functions:
Use various software tools to submit product deviations to customers for approval (this will require working with other departments, such as engineering and manufacturing).
Compile necessary information to create the shipment packages for various product lines.
Assist the Quality Engineer in root cause analysis for any customer issues or escapes.
Complete product reviews for any major customer issues before product shipments.
Conduct internal auditing in various departments and processes to verify the correct procedures are being followed.
Complete monthly routing card organization for long-term record retention.
Must comply with all company attendance policies and guidelines; this includes, but is not limited to, regular attendance and occasional overtime (specifically during end-of-month shipments).
Follow Howmet's Safety Regulations and Work Rules Handbook along with all department specific safety requirements.
