The Quality Health/Safety Manager, Fuels shall be responsible for the management of the Quality & Health/Safety program to include the development of all SOP’s, maintenance of all documentation, and implementation of the program throughout the organization to include implementation of the audit process to ensure the program is being executed effectively.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and implement the Fuels Quality Manual as well as the Safety SOP’s and set program guidelines.
- Maintain and provide oversight of all fuels team internal documentation and folder development.
- Provide training for and development of all Field Managers
- Develop safety training program and manage electronic documentation of all employee certifications.
- Manage all significant safety equipment programs including air monitoring and fall protection.
- Implement audit program to provide monitoring of the quality/safety program in compliance with both internal company requirements and as directed contractually to meet client requirements.
- Communicate effectively with assigned team members, as well as company support teams as needed to meet client project/program requirements
- Participate in periodic business plan and strategy development, as directed by supervisor
- Lead periodic team meetings and conference calls, as directed by supervisor
- Develop technical proposal templates and specific technical proposals sections as required
- Develop standard technical and management work plan templates and specific work plans as required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years progressive safety program management experience in aviation/fueling with either DOD clients or commercial/industrial services
- Minimum five (5) years’ progressive quality program management experience in aviation/fueling with either DOD clients or commercial/industrial services
Preferred Qualifications
- B.S. in construction or Safety Management
- Safety Professional Certification
- American Petroleum Institute (API) 570 Piping Inspector Certification
- API 653 Aboveground Tank Inspector Certification
- NACE International Level I Coatings Inspector Certification
- Steel Tank Institute Tank Systems Inspector Certification
- USACE QCMC Training
- PMP Training or Certification
- Minimum five (5) years case management experience
- OSHA 40 Certification
- OSHA Train-the-Trainer Certifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Possess Three Phase quality control training
- Knowledge of DoD Fuel Facility UFGS, UFC, EM-385 requirements
