Quality Manager

Large Manufacturing Company located in Wooster Ohio is looking for a plant Quality Manager

JOB DUTIES

• Ensure that process controls are in place to meet all corporate quality standards and for preventing the outflow of defects from the process.
• Responsible to create, implement and sustain quality control plans to prevent the outflow of defects to the customer.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
• Must be a creative problem solver, proactive and steadfast in the identification and resolution of product quality issues.
• Manage day to day quality control and quality inspection activities to the assigned area(s)
• Maintain Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485) or other relevant standards

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years working in Quality in a manufacturing plant environment
• 4+ years working in quality leadership
• Demonstrated planning/problem solving skills
