Mission:
Responsible for all aspects of the plant quality systems, policies and procedures consistent with Grupo Antolin Quality Management System (GA QMS) requirements. Monitor and continuously improve upon internal and external plant quality performance metrics and scorecards to ensure customer satisfaction. Obtain and maintain all TS and/or other required certifications through successful internal and external audits.
Responsibilities:
- Implementation, communication, and sustainment of Grupo Antolin Quality Management System (GA QMS) policies, procedures and documentation.
- Development of strong customer relations.
- Monitor and continuously improve upon customer key performance indicators.
- Manage the Quality Department staff and develop a strong team with measurable goals and objectives within budget.
- Ensure compliance with all internal and external quality requirement standards.
- Attend daily Management staff meeting and conduct regular Quality Department meetings.
- Utilize assorted industry methodologies to lead cross functional root cause analysis and problem solving teams to drive plant quality improvements.
- Ensure all quality testing equipment meets all internal and external requirements.
- Effective interaction with production and development teams to maintain product supply and support successful launches.
- Manage supplier quality scorecard and address any issues accordingly.
- Coordinate and lead all internal and external quality audits.
- Ensure effective controls are put in place with documented procedures.
- Work closely with all levels of plant management and production associates to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Responsible for implementation and maintenance of all control documents (i.e. C. Plan, etc.).
- Closely manage any third party auditors that may be utilized.
- Conducts performance reviews for staff.
- Drives continuous improvements for the betterment of the department and plant.
- Implement and maintain 5S and world class standards.
- Abides by all health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations promoting safety in the workplace.
- Ensures all employees receive the proper training and certification for the position they hold.
What we are looking for:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Quality
- 8 to 10 years of related successful experience in Quality Management
- Strong team building and leadership skills.
- Must be very organized and detail oriented with an emphasis on accuracy.
- Computer proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Manage time effectively.
- Ability to physically inspect areas of responsibility including the interior plant floor (shipping, receiving, finished goods warehouses, service area, etc….) and any exterior shipping / receiving docks and any outside storage areas, warehouses, and trailers.
- Professional and effective communication and representation skills.
- Ability to sit, stand and have mobility to move around the office or manufacturing environment, when needed.
- Ability to conduct computer work or long periods of time or engage in discussion with employees.
- May require travel
